THE PROBLEMS OF NUISANCE-FREE VEGETABLE PRODUCTION IN GUANGZHOU

The industry of the vegetable production in Guangzhou is growing steadily, and the regional layout pattern has formed. But there are still some problems getting in the way of its development, such as the reduction of the standardized vegetable fields and the poor infrastructure for the new vegetable planting area, the lack of nuisance-free consciousness in vegetable production and sale, and the existence of some contaminated vegetables that do harm to human healthy, etc. Meanwhile, the fast urbanization and the lag of the reform of rural land tenure also hinder the vegetable production. Some suggestions are put forward to solve the problems to enhance the propaganda and education of nuisance-free production, to perfect the authentication system of the vegetable production areas, to accelerate rural land tenure system reform, and construct modern corporation system for intensive production and sale of nuisance-free vegetables.
