广州人民南路骑楼街的文化复兴

广州近代大规模兴建的骑楼商业街,是继十三行夷馆之后,中西建筑文化再次相结合的历史性产物。人民南路骑楼街是其中的佼佼者,在全市骑楼街道网络系统中具有极其重要的地位。但高架路的负面影响,使其丧失了宜商、宜住、宜游、宜通行、宜创业的固有优势而走向衰落。保护具有连续空间的骑楼文化遗产,坚持名城地域性特色,复兴优秀历史街区,是我们必须承担的时代义务。

The Renaissance of the Qilou Culture in Renminnan Road of Guangzhou

In succession to the Thirteen Guild Hall in Guangzhou in the Qing Dynasty,the mass of construction of verandah shopping streets(Qilou streets) at neoteric Guangzhou is the result of the combination of Chinese architecture culture with Western architecture culture.The continuous buildings riding over the verandah along the street are called Qilou.Renminnan Road is one of the best verandah-streets,and it has an important status in the whole verandah-street network in Guangzhou.But it finally lost its advances of developing the commerce tourism and real estate since the construction of the elevated line.It is suggested to protect the Qilou culture heritage and revive the excellent traditional Qilou streets so as to retain the characteristics of famous historical and cultural city of Guangzhou.
