基于网格计算的城市地理学研究方法探讨

综合分析了城市地理学研究的几种基本方法,并重点探讨了G IS技术在城市地理学研究的重要应用。指出多源数据的获取、数据共享、模型方法的互操是目前城市地理学研究面临的重要问题,建议将网格计算这一新的分布式计算技术应用到城市地理学的研究中,并给出一个基本的城市地理学网格计算体系结构,讨论了实现这个计算体系的几个关键问题,认为采用W eb Service标准建立城市地理学研究的网格计算体系是目前可行的方法。

An Exploration of the study Method of Urban Geography Based Grid Computing

Several basic research methods of urban geography are analyzed synthetically,and the application of GIS to the research field is given a detailed discussion.Some significant problems that urban geography research is facing are indicated in the paper,such as multi-source data acquiring,data sharing and computing model interoperating.In fact,those have been the bottlenecks in the research.In order to solve the problems,a suggestion is presented,that is to apply Grid Computing as a new distributed computing technology to the study of urban geography.At the same time,a fundamental computing architecture based on Grid Computing is put forward.As one of Grid Computing standards,Web Service,consisting of SOAP,WSDL,UDDI and XML,has been developed as a set of mature implementing model and is regarded as a feasible approach to establish the Grid Computing architecture of urban geography research.
