天山地区影响稳定积雪形成的初始气候条件研究──以天山积雪雪崩研究站为例

本文利用天山积雪雪崩研究站的历史资料分析了影响稳定积雪形成的初始气候条件，对降雪量的月间分布、降雪及气温与地温对稳定积雪的影响进行了阐述。

STUDY ON PRIMARY CLIMATIC CONDITIONS AFFECTING STABLE SNOWCOVER FORMATION IN THE TIANSHAN MOUNTAINS:AN EXAMPLE FROM TIANSHAN STATION FOR SNOW AND AVALANCHE RESEARCH(TSSAR)

The inihal date of snowcover occurrence is described as the first day when the continuous snowcover forzns during winter season. Based on the meteorological data collected byTSSAR, the primary conditions affecting stable snowcover formation are discussed. Themean snowfall in Novermber is greater than that in December. When snowfall occurs, airtemperature drops. Sufficient snowtall in Novermber can support its melt- Thus the stablesnowcover forrns in November mainly. The mean initial date of snowcover occurrence is onNovember 8. The continuous heaVy snowtall (the precipitahon amount is rnore than 8.ornm) can directly form stable snowcover. The medium snowfall(the precipitation amountis 3.1~8. 0rnm) can also make snowcover stable under the conditions of suitable air tem-perature and ground temperature.
