| 摘 要： | 改革开放以来，中国城市化的快速发展为大都市区发展创造了条件，大都市区已成为我国城市化发展新的空间载体。对大都市区进行界定是大都市区研究的前提。本文提出以第五次人口普查数据为基础界定中国大都市区的简化方法，并对中国大都市区的发展情况进行了初步研究。

| Abstract: | Since the implementation of the opening-up and reform policy in 1978, the process of Chinese urbanization develops dramatically, while the formation and fast development of metropolitan areas has been an important feature. This paper puts forward a new approach to defining Metropolitan Area census in 2000. By this way, over 500,000 national wide in in China, which based on the statistical date of 5th national the authors list all the metropolitan areas with population 2000 and give some preliminary analysis. |
