| Abstract: | In this paper, reflection of stress-wave in an elastic bar with continuously varying cross-section area or modulus of elasticity is calculated by numerical simulation based on charcteristic-line method, effect of stress wave pulse width on character of reflecting wave form is discussed also. The results are helpful for pile foundation measurement. |
