| Abstract: | The defects of piles,including breaks or gaps in the pile stem, increase or decrease in pile diameter, are caused in the construction. In this paper,the piles with defects are studied with the technique of finite element analysis,the knowledge acquired concerning load settlement behaviour of this kind of piles,skin friction and toe resistance transfer mechanism can be used to guide the design and construction of piles. |
