| 摘 要： | 通过新化石地点的发现及对过去分类的各地点、各层位化石的整理研究及广泛对比,对河南西部红层盆地化石层位提出了较为理想的时代顺序,并在此基础上对垣曲盆地渐新统存在与否及中国东部早第三纪生物古地理的划分提出了初步意见。

| Abstract: | In recent decades, with collection of a great many of Paleogene fossil mammals , it has become possible for Paleogene biostratigraphic subdivision to be made in Liguanqiao Basin,Henan and Yuanqu Basin, Shanxi. However, the determination of fossil horizons is a main problem because of scattered fossil localities in the two basins. Based on new discovery of fossil localities,systematic colligation and study of formerly found fossil localities and levels,and extensive comparison and correlation of the fossil levels in the two basins with others, fossil horizons are determined and chronical sequences of the horizons are put forward in this paper. Also, on the basis of this, a preliminary opinion on nonexistence of the Oligocene of Yuanqu Basin and division of Paleogene paleobiogeographic province in Eastern China is proposed here. |
