| Abstract: | Xenolithic inclusions in gabbros exhibiting a layered structure and a gabbroic suite of minerals are shown to represent calcareous sediments that have been basified by the gabbroic magma. Mg, Fe and Ca have been added to the xenoliths; Si, Al and alkalies are subtracted. |
