NARRATION AND EVALUATION ON SIGNIFICANCE OF NATIONAL GEOPARK FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM

National Geopark,a new kind of park,is developing rapidly in recent years.It represents a new developmental direction and becomes more and more important in the development of tourism.The article introduces the process and status quo of the development of National Geopark in recent years.It analyses the significance of national geopark for the development of tourism in aspects of the geography position,traffic condition,tourism content,the development and blueprint and the income of tourism by showing the geographical distribution,the geological characteristic of National Geopark and describing classification of National Geopark.We can draw a conclusion that the National Geopark must become a mainstay spot of tourism and new increasing point of tourism income.
