审核工作在岩土工程勘察全过程中起着重要作用，并对勘察全过程的质量进行控制。首先审核勘察方案的合理性，确定了合理的勘察方案，对野外施工进行检查和验收，取得可靠的基本资料和数据，最后审查勘察报告，着重对报告中的关键数据、基础方案进行综合分析，最终为设计单位提供详实可靠的地质资料，为建设单位提供经济技术的基础方案。

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF INSPECTORS IN ENGINEERING AND INVESTIGATION

It is important to inspect the whole geotechnical engineering for controlling the quality of the whole exploration process. The inspection work can be stated as follows: firstly to look through the reasonability of exploration program and to determine the reasonable exploration program; secondly to inspect and approve the quality of work done in field; thirdly to acquire reliable data from the basic information, lastly to revise the exploration report, from which comprehensive analysis of the critical data in the report and the basic program should be emphasized, for providing reliable and detailed geological information for design unit and submitting a basic program with economy and technique for construction unit.
