Morphological characteristics of chrome spinel which is related to diamond primary deposits

Chrome spinel is one of the significant indicator minerals for searching diamond primary deposit. A great amount of chrome spinel has oftern been found when taking heavy concentration measurement. If only using mineral and chemical composition to judge whether the chrome spinel has some relationship with diamond primary deposit, it will take too much work and cost by using electron probe testing method. If mineral morphological characteristics identification could be combined with electron probe analysis, it will be a easier and more reliable judging method with lower cost.
