从水文测验项目，测验设备与仪器，测验技术和方式、整编与数据库建设等方面回顾了中国水文测验５０年来的发展与取得的成就，总结了水文测验工作的重点和采取的措施，指出了目前水文测验存在的问题与不足及今后发展的方向。

Development of Operational Hydrometry in China in the Past 50 Years

In this paper, the development and achievements of the hydrometry in China in the past 5O years havebeen reviewed, including many aspects such as the projects, facilities and instruments, techniques, data processingand database construction. The focus and the measures adopted in the operation of hydromeny have been summarized. The existing problems and the suggestions to tackle them are indicated.
