| Abstract: | After the Yanshanian movement in Mesozoic,the northern margin of North China platform turned into a typical intracontinental extensional phase which may relate to mantle plume activity.A typical mantle branch existed in the Jinchanggouliang area might have controlled the ore forming processes.We argue that the dropdown of the Duimiangou and Toudaogou tenso-shear faults made the ore-bearing metamorphic block be preferably reserved.So the ore body has very promising vertical extension and likely transits from vein group or large vein to fracture-altered gold mineralization.The possibility of existence of porphyry Cu deposit at depth is worthy further investigation. |
