福建宁化丹霞地貌及特征

福建宁化白垩纪红层盆地位于华夏古陆武夷隆起西南部,地处中亚热带湿润区,自上新世以来,盆地内上白垩统崇安组紫红色巨厚层复成分砾岩、砂砾岩经漫长地质时期流水侵蚀、风化剥蚀、重力崩塌等外力作用缓慢雕塑,发育丹霞崖壁、石堡、石峰、石柱、石墙等正地貌,局部发育线谷、巷谷、峡谷等负地貌,构成一幅老年期丹霞地貌景观,是开展老年期丹霞地貌科研、科考的理想场所.

On the Danxia Landform and Its Characteristics of Ninghua County, Fujian Province

The Cretaceous redbed basin in Ninghua County, Fujian Province is situated at the southwestern part of Cathaysia Wuyi uplift and in the tropic humid region of central Asia. Since Pliocene, the prunosus mega-thick-bedded polygenetic conglomerate and glutinite of Upper Cretaceous Chongan Formation within the basin have undergone many exogenic actions in the longer geologic time such as normal erosion, weathering denudation and gravity collapse and were developed into such the positive landform as Danxia rock walls, fort-shaped stones, peak foresters, stone pillars and dike walls, and locally into such the negative landform as linear ravines, narrow gorges and canyons, which is made up of a gerontic Danxia landform. It is an ideal place for the scientific research and scientific investigation of ,the gerontic Danxia landform.
