| Abstract: | Research on a new rock tri-axial testing system was conducted, which consists of a self-made rock tri-axial pressure vessel, a hydraulic pump and a universal testing machine. The results using the system for rock tri-axial test were consistent with those by other methods. The system is not only more economical, but also can satisfy the needs of scientific research and production. |
