| Abstract: | The polythylene (PE) anticorrosive layer of steel pipe piles, that is mainly composed of epoxy primer, bonding agent and PE,can be used in seashore tide area to protect dock steel pipe piles which is one way of the more effective anticorrosive technology. The manufacturing process for pre-coated steel pipe piles with PE is introduced in this paper. Also the propeties of epoxy primer,bonding agent and PE anticorrosive layer are given. The practical applications of PE anti- corrosive steel pipe piles on the Dandong Port is presented as well. |
