| Abstract: | Studies of the characteristics and the regularities of current show that Dalian bay belongs to non-semidiurnal tidal current area. The direction of longer axes of the M2 tidal current is parallel to the coastal line in the rectilinear current movement. The strongest current appears in the channel of the bay mouth with a velocity of 2.5kn. The velocity of the residual current is about 40 cm/s at sea surface in autumn. |
