| 摘 要： | Controlled by the NE-and NW-trending faults the Hanjiang Delta formed in the Early Quaternary received deposits in the Middle Quaternary, continued to develop since the Holocene, and subsided at a velocity of 1 mm/yr. About 2000-3000 years BP the Hanjiang Delta began to uplift and became a land. Its formation and development are controlled by faulting. Early and late developments are controlled by the NE-and NW-trending fractures, respectively, indicating the rebirth and Intense activity of the latter.
