| Abstract: | A diagnostic analysis of the rainstorm process in Qingdao from June 25 to 27, 2000 was made by using helicity theory. It is shown from the analysis results that the variations in helicity are good indicators of the motion and development of weather system and the falling area and intensity of rainstorm. |
