| Abstract: | In this paper,the comparative 48h forecast test has heen performed for the period from 13 July to 19 July,1995,utilizing a enhamced NWP system for heavy rain,the real-time data and forecast products of T63L16 model,and the different initial fields provided by the three kinds of weighting function such as circle,elliptical,curvature elliptical schemes according to the successive correction objective analysis scheme. The forecast results show that the forecast with elliptical weighting function is better than that with circle function,and the curvature elliptical scheme is further better than elliptical for 24h and 48h forecasts. |
