A Statistical Analysis on the Extratropical Cyclones in the Eastern Asia and North America |

| Abstract: | By using weather maps for ten years (1964—1974), a statistical analysis on the extratropical cyclones in the eastern Asia and North America are made. It is found that the geographical distribution of cyclonic activity, their seasonal distributions have marked several differences between these two regions and that the effect of monsoon and orientation of Tibetan Plateau play an important role for the difference of cyclonic activities in these two regions |
