摘    要:本文介绍了利用气象卫星AVHRR资料对青海省青南高原看牧区冬春(10月-4月)积雪进行监测的原理,提出了利用AVHRR资料估算积雪深度和面积的方法,并对其精度进行了检验。

Abstract:In this paper,the theory of snowcover monitoring using AVHRR data is pre- sented. The key techniques and methods of snowcover parameters estimation are discussed in detail. Key techniques include: snowcover identification, snow depth reinal and snowcover area estimation. The result calculated by the method generally coincided with the real record. Analysis also shows that (1) snow depth has a positive correlation with albedo of CH1-CH2 and a anticorrelation with brightness temperature of CH4. (2) The ratio varied with snow- age and observation time. (3) Further study on reinal of snow depth more than 20cm is nec- essary. It is concluded that AVHRR data is powerful and useful tool to monitor snowcover.
