They were 408 cases of lung malignant tumors, 301 of pulmonary infection, tuberculosis 108, pleural diseases 75, mediastinal tumors and metastasis 54, cirrhosis and malignancies of the liver 427, bnign lesions of liver 156, pancreatitis and pancreatic neoplasms 115,kidney and adrenal tumors 195, others 232, and no abnormal findings 429. The main advantage of double-helix CT scan is that it is twice the speed of ordinary spiral CT. It can complete a full lung study in a breath-taking which is about 10 seconds. In the patients of contrast enhancement it can appear different phases of vascular structures.To some extent, the technique can be as an substitute to DSA. 3Dreconstraction can clearly display the lesions after a stugy.
