Abstract:Since its establishment and operation in the eighties of the 20th century, China Digital Seismograph Network (CDSN) has greatly promoted the research on digital seismology in China, expanded and deepened our cognition about the earth’s crust, the earth’s inner structure and the source process, which is useful to the research on earthquake prediction and reduction of earthquake disaster. Along with the development of world science and technology, the Sino-America incorporated two sides carried the second stage of technique update to CDSN from 1992 to 2001. The paper summarizes the goal and technical content of this technique update: technique character and operation status of the new generational CDSN, CDSN digital communication system built in the second stage of technique update, research progress of CDSN digital earthquake real-time analysis system.
