Stratigraphy is the base branch of geological science. Developing form traditional stratigrahy to seismic stratigraphy and sequence stratigtaphy, the research of stratigraphy has taken place a great leap. The important significance of it can be compared with that of coming out of plate tectonic theory. Seismology is an old and important branch of geophysics. It is one of the bases on which sequence stratigraphy could emerge. Using the theory and method of sequence stratigraphy, we can exactly distinguish sedimentary facies, sedimentary environment and set up a complete sedimentary sequence to forecase the constitution relationship of creation, storing and covering of oil-gas, make it easier to track the target stratum used to compare. Thus, it has important significance for the research of sedimentary basins.
