横向不均匀介质中的面波及地球内部速度结构研究

摘    要:近十年中地震面波的理论和应用研究有很大进展。由于资料增加、反演方法的改进及利用了振幅和波形等更多的面波信息,对于全球及区域上地幔速度结构及各向异性有了进一步的认识。同时对于显著不均匀三维介质中面波的传播特征,在理论探讨和实际观测方面取得了较多成果。本文对于面波研究的最新成果作了介绍。

Abstract:In this paper we review the progress in the recent ten years of the research on surface waves in the laterally heterogeneous Earth.Works on both the inveroe problem and forward modeling are presented. Better velocity models of the upper mantle on global and regional scale have been obtained owing to the increased data set, improved inversion method, as well as the utilization of more information carried by surface waves, such as the amplitudes and waveforms. In the meantime much has been achieved in understanding surface wave propagation in 3- D heterogeneous medium through observational studies and theoretical modeling.
