| Abstract: | In this paper,the authors outline the historical background and development of wavelet theory;elaborate the conception and basic charateristics of wavelet transformation;depict the detection ofsignal distortion,filtering and the research on transient spectrum based on wavelet pack transforma- tion and the research results. At the end , the authors discuss the prospects of the application of wavelet transformation to earthquake signal processing. |
