行为地理学研究的方法论问题

行为地理学研究正成为人文地理学的一大热点。时代呼唤具有中国特色的行为地理学研究理论与方法。文章探讨行为地理学研究中的方法论问题,强调微观个体行为与整体社会的结合、短期行为与长期行为的结合、主观能动性与客观制约的结合、定量研究与质性分析的结合等,并试图提出一个行为研究的整体性框架。

Methodological Problems in Behavioral Geography Study

In the context of Humanistic and Post_modernism trend, human geography studies began to pay more and more concern to practical problems of individuals and the society. The approaches of human activity study have changed from macro_level to micro_level. Studies based on the statistic analysis of individuals, separate activities and the combination of them are becoming the study focus. On the other hand, human geography studies of China have long neglected the direct study of people and cooperation with social sciences. With the economic, social and institution transition of China, city residents got more and more freedom to choose their careers, residential location and consumption places. In this context, the author put forward several methodological problems that should be paid attention to: 1) To combine study of individuals in micro level with that of society in macro level; 2) To combine the study of short_term activities with that of long_term activities; 3) To combine the study of "active decision makers" with that of "reactive decision makers"; 4) To combine quantitative approach with qualitative approach.
