| 摘 要： | 美国前副总统戈尔认为数字地球可以变成一个“没有围墙的实验室”,那么什么是“没有围墙的实验室”,如何建设 ?本文在对当前数字地球研究成果分析的基础上 ,指出“没有围墙的实验室”的核心就是“没有围墙的 GIS实验室”.

| Abstract: | Al·Gore,the former vice president of USA, refers that the digital earth could become a "collaboratory"- a laboratory without walls. So what is the "laboratory without walls"? How it can be constructed? Based on the analysis of current study conclusion in the Digital Earth, The paper points out that the core of the "laboratory without walls" is the "GIS laboratory without walls". It also discusses the conception,the method of carrying out and the application level of the GIS laboratory without walls. Finally it points out the difficulties and the questions in the construction of the GIS laboratory without walls. |
