中国大陆四周强震P波速度差异的比较分析

选择中国大陆周边不同部位的6个7级以上强震,以中国地震台网报告定位参数为准,作P波时距曲线,比较它们的速度大小,结果证实:南北方向的地震无明显差异,而东西方向上,主要是青藏高原以西的巴基斯坦强震的P波速度要明显大一些。但是,对于成都地震遥测台网远震速报定位的影响不会超过允许的误差范围。

Comparatie analysis on the velocity differences of P wave around main land of China

We collect 6 strong earthquakes with the magnitude equal to or greater than 7.0 around the mainland of China and compare their parameters with the ones listed in the Earthquake Catalog of China Earthquake Network Center.Then we drew their P wave time-distance figures.We want to know their P wave velocities with the different directions.Our comparative results show that for the earthquakes with the north-south directions,their differences of P wave velocity are not obvious and for the earthquakes with the east-west direction,especially the earthquakes occurred in Pakistan region located to the western parts of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,their differences of P wave velocity are greater than that of earthquakes with other directions.But it does not reach the level to affect our locating precision of earthquakes.
