一种新的风化壳类型

本文根据化学分析、风化壳实际分布资料和风化理论,确定和提出了一种新的硅质风化壳类型,论证了其形成条件、发育阶段和分布地区,指出了其剖面构成及它与高岭土风化壳的区别。文章认为,以往由某些苏联学者所提出的有关高岭土风化壳分布于冷湿灰化带的说法,是值得进一步探讨的。

A NEW KIND OF WEATHERED MANTLE

On the basis of chemical analysis,the data about the practical distribution of the weathered mantles and the theory on weathering, the writer ascertains and puts forward a new kind of weathered siliceous mantle. In this paper, the developmental conditions and the stages of this weathered mantle are discussed. Its distributive areas, the division of layers and the difference between it and ancudite weathered mantle are demonstrated. It is thought that the view that the ancudite weathered mantle was distributed in the moist-frigid zones ( This view was given by some Russion scholars in the past ) is worth discussing further.
