Metallogenic and geological characteristics,ore-controlling factor and deep prospecting perspective analysis in Jangdongwan Sb-Au deposit in West Hunan

Jiangdongwan antimony-gold deposit is located in the middle section of Xuefeng orogenic belt,which is produced in the uplift area of the fault block controlled by the main regional fault.The ore bodies,in vein and thin-plate,are hosted at the upper part of the shallow metamorphic rock series of Wuqiangxi Formation of Neoproterozoic Banxi Group.On the basis of the analysis of the metallogenic and geological characteristics,ore-controlling factors,vertical zonation,and prospecting perspective of the deposit,it is considered that there is a great prospecting potential in Jiangdongwan antimony-gold deposit in Longwangjiang gold ore concentration area in West Hunan.The shallow part of the deposit is dominated by antimony or antimony-gold orebodies,and there are mainly gold orebodies in the deep part.The gold mineralization is stronger and stronger with the depth in the deposit,and the hidden ore veins increase as well.There is a large prospecting space in the deep for the resource potential of a medium-scale gold deposit.
