鲁卜哈利盆地也门区油气远景展望

根据新资料和新观察讨论了鲁卜哈利盆地也门区的油气远景。这些新资料和新观察包括：（1）鲁卜哈利盆地的地质研究历史；（2）新构造运动；（3）近代地壳运动；（4）航天与航空影像分析。所使用的航天遥感信息摄于1994－1997年，并与中国境内的数百张航空像片和遥感影像进行了对比研究。对上述资料的综合分析，使我们能够从一个新的角度对鲁卜哈利盆地也门区的油气远景提出一些新认识。这有助于鲁卜哈利盆地也门区的油气勘探工作，并吸引外国勘探公司在本区开展石油勘探。

Oil and Gas Prospect in the Yemeni Sector of the Rub Al Khali Basin

This paper discusses the oil and gas prospects in the Yemeni sector of the Rub al Khali basin on the basis of a new look to the area. This new look to the area depends: 1.The geological research history work in the area; 2.The neotectonic movement; 3.The recent crust movement; 4.A collection of satellite images, which had been taken of the Republic of Yemen during the period from 1994 to 1997 with hundreds of aerpphotos and satellite images, taken to different part of the People's Republic of China (As an example to find a case study to the Yemeni sector of the Rub al Khali basin). And this led us to introduce a new idea for a new project, which we hope is going to help future petroleum exploration activities and attract foreign exploration investment to work in the Yemeni sector of the Rub al Khali basin.
