Geologic Scientific and Technical files are precious wealth which took innumerable trials and tribulations pains of several generation geologic scientific and technical workers as well as spending huge founds But never made a due contribution as a result of occluded management model This paper explains the necessary and significance of payable use of geologic scientific and technical files under the market economic structure At the same time ,it probes into the method of payable use explaining the social and economic benefit of payable use of geologic scientific and technical files with practice Finally, the author also show the prospect that deepening reform of geologic scientific and technical files would bring vitality to geology prospecting units
