肋木植物在湖南的发现及其意文

肋木是欧亚大陆早一中三叠世最标志的一属植物,在华南以往的地质文献中尚未报道过。本文描述了首次发现于桑植县一带中三叠世巴东组下段的一种肋木化石即湖南肋木(新种)。根据这个种的孢子囊近似凹入的盘形等特征,认为它是一种适应在水体中漂浮的滨海潮坪植物。此外,文中对肋木的地质、地理分布也作了较系统的总结,并提出其确切的地质时限为印度期一安尼期的看法。

The Discovery of Pleuromeia in Hunan and its Significances

It is Well known that the genus Pleuromeia is one of the more standard plants of the Early-Mid-die Triassic in Eurasia. It was not reported in former geological literature from South China. In the present pa-per, a new species, Pleuromeia hunanensis sp. nov, is derived from the lower of Middle Triassic Badong Forma-tion of Songzhi County in Hunan Province for the first time. According to the shape of this specific sporangia showing like a plate with a concave upper surface and a convex lower surface etc., writer supposes it is suitable for this specific sporangia to drift in water. In addition, the stratigraphical distribution of Pleuromeia is also briefly discussed in this paper and it is suggested to be assigned to Induan-Anisian in age.
