Abstract:Beach state is a three dimensional morphodynamic problem interacting between topography and hydrodynamics. There exists abundant fruitful literature about morphodynamic classification of beach state abroad, including microtidal sand beaches of open coast, as well as all wave-dominated beaches in all tidal ranges and beach types of headland-bay coasts.
