论澜沧江下游地区外向型热区工业的发展与布局

分析论证了澜沧江下游地区发展外向型热区工业的可行性与必要性，认为在建设中的老缅泰国际经济合作区的宏观背景下，澜沧江下游地区应充分利用其独特而又丰富的热区生物资源和显著的边疆优势，发现和建立一个以糖、茶、橡胶、南药与香料、林等热区资源加工基地为主体，进出口加工为指向，地域功能分工明确的外币型热区工业体系，以带动和促进区域经济全面发展。

DEVELOPMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF EXPORT-ORIENTED TROPICAL INDUSTRIES IN THE LOWER REACHES OF THE LANCANG RIVER

The lower reaches of the Lancang River basin, consisting of Xishuangbanna, Simao and Lincang Prefectures in Yunnan Province, are mostly located in Chinese northern tropics and southern subtropics, and are the biggest continuous tropical area in Yunnan province and a treasure part in tropical China. The area is abundant in tropical biological resources. But at present, its industrial development is still at the primitive level and its resource-processing capacity is rather limited. Thus, those unique and plentiful tropical resources have to be exported in raw materials or semi-manufactured goods, and its resource superiority has made little contribution to its economic development. Apparently, it is vital to formulate a rational industrial development strategy for the development of the lower reaches of the Lancang river basin. The feasibility and essentiality for developing export-oriented tropical industries in the lower reaches of the Lancang River are investigated and examined. On the macro-background of establishing the international economic cooperation area of China, Laos, Burma and Thailand, the region of the lower Lancang River should take advantage of its abundant tropical resources and frontier location to develop and establish an export-oriented tropical industry system. The development and distribution of its major tropical resource-processing industries are discussed in details. Those include sugar-processing industry, tea-processing industry, rubber-processing industry, southern medicinal and perfumery plants processing industry, and forest industry. Some measures to accelerating the development of export-oriented tropical industries in this region are put forward.
