A BRIEF ACCOUNT OF THE GEOGRAPHY OF THE CENTRAL OETZTAL ALPS WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO ITS GLACIOLOGY

Abstract

Beginning with an energy loss relation of the form S = aVⁿ, it is possible to describe a number of basic analytical types of flows. The derived general equation may be shown to give solutions for simple cases such as radial and vortex flows as well as reducing to Laplace's equation. Laminar flow is a special case with n = 1, and further solutions range from laminar to fully turbulent flow.
