摘    要:三维地形模拟技术是当前计算机绘图领域中研究的重点之一。针对粗略地形的格网用分形技术进行插值,通过定量数据分析分形计算效率,预测产生的分析数据量。基于随机中点位移法中的菱形-方形法三维地形模拟;通过统计数据量和效率推求合适的递归次数范围,缓解计算量和地形逼真度之间矛盾的方法,以及用此方法进行三维地形的分析和预测的适用性分析。

Abstract:The 3D terrain simulation technique is one of important research issues in the computer graphics. Interpolation is carried out on the grid of rough terrain with fractal techniques in this paper, which can make an estimate on the fields of fractal computing efficiency and prediction of data capacity. The method of 3D terrain simulation in this paper is usually used in practice, which is easy to realize. This paper introduces Random Mid-pint Displacement for simulating the terrain, especially the method of Diamond-Square, whose efficiency can be estimated by computing the data recorded previously. Appropriate range of recursion times can be obtained, which maybe get over the contradiction of the computing quantity and degree of fidelity. Some analysis and forecast have been done on the method of Random Mid-point Displacement.
