THE STUDY AND APPLICATION OF FIELD GEOLOGY PPC SYSTEM

This paper discusses the significance and main work of developing Field Geology PPC System,whose software platform is Windows CE and hardware carrier is PPC.Because of its portable work platform,the Field Geology PPC System is ideal on field geology work.The Field Geology PPC System is composed of front end software tools subsystem,background servo processing subsystem,communication subsystem,and software of hardware interface.Developing this system becomes an important practice of changing the traditional field geology exploration and resource investigative technology by high informational technology.Its successful research will provide an effective and applicable modern platform to field geology workers in 21st century.
