| Abstract: | The flux of the radio quiet Sun and the brightness temperature at 408 MHz (73 cm) are derived from measurements with the E-W Nançay interferometer and the E-W arm of the Medicina North Cross. It is shown that the lowest envelopes, which defined the radio quiet Sun, correspond to transits of extended coronal holes across the disk of the Sun. |
