苏州阳西风化型高岭土矿物的形成与演化

苏州高岭土矿床可划分为两种成因类型^1,2],即风化型¹⁾和热液蚀变型。高岭土集中分布在阳山东、西、北三个矿区。本文仅就阳西风化型高岭土中产出的不同种类高岭土矿物的形成及其互相演变的关系作初步探讨。

THE FORMATION AND EVOLUTION OF THE WEATHERING TYPE OF KAOLIN MINERALS AT THE YANGXI,SUZHOU COUNTY

In this paper the geological background and mineral constitutions of the weathering type of kaolin at the Yangxi are described.The kaolin minerals consist of kaolinite,7 Å halloysite and 10 Å halloysite which have been determined by X-ray powder diffraction,differential thermal analysis,infrared spectrum and electron microscope.According to these analysis results it is suggested that there exist three evolutionary stages of the kaolin minerals:1.at the first stage the montmorillonite was transformed into endimte;2.at the second one the 10 Å halloysite was transformed into 7 Å halloysite and 3.at the last one the 7 Å halloysite was transformed into kaolinite.
