摘    要:自从辛格用輻射带內电性粒子运动所形成的电流环,成功地解释磁暴主相形成的机制以来,这些带电粒子的来源就成为磁暴主相理論的一个重要問題。本文以两度空間双曲线磁場,对带电粒子的軌道进行初步計算表明:由于貭子和电子的反射方向不同,在中性点附近可以形成由东向西的极化电場。在这个电場的作用下,带电粒子的飘移运动可以通过中性点穿入地磁层而被捕获。据初步估計,我們的計算与帕克尔等的理論結果相符,并可以解释磁暴主相。

Abstract:Since Singer explained the main phase ring current by charged particles trapped in geomagnetic field, the origin of these particles has become one of the important problems of main phase theory.This article attempts to suggest a mechanism through which the process of penetration of solar wind into the magnetosphere can be traced. If there is no other force than magnetic field, it is known that all charged particles approaching the magnetosphere will be reflected back into the space even arround the neutral points on the boundary. However, because of the diffrential reflection of electrons and protons, a polarized electrical field will eventually be established around the neutral point in westward direction.Under the action of this electrical field, charged particles of small pitch angles will pass through the neutral point.According to the result of numerical integration by an electronic computer, we come to the conclusion that the electron will be captured more easily and with larger probability than the protons.With a suitable choice of the parameter of the solar wind and the capture probability, our result may explain fairly well the theoretical investigation of Parker and others.
