摘    要:20世纪矿床地质学蓬勃发展,为矿产资源的勘查和开发作出了历史贡献。已经成为地质科学的一个重要分支学科。文章简要回顾了近百年来矿床学研究取得的若干成熟。在21世纪中,矿床学将能推陈出新。为人类社会可持续发展服务。有三方面的研究领域:深入研究矿床的形成和分布规律,为矿产勘查提供新的成矿理论基础;拓宽研究领域,发掘地质体的有用性,加强对新型矿产资源的研究,在矿产资源的更新换代中发挥作用。

Abstract:Ore deposit geology is developed vigorously and has made a historic contribution to the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources in the 20th Century. It has already become an important branch of geosciences. A brief review of some important achievements of ore deposit geology in this century was made in this paper. No doubt, the study of ore deposit will continue to develop on its present basis in the coming 21th Century. There are three main research fields which may serve human society for sustainable development(1) a thorough study on regularities of ore-forming events and distribution of ore deposits for the purpose of providing a new metallogenic theory for ore exploration (genetic metallogeny);(2) the broadening of its research field for exploring availabilities of geologic bodies and discovering new types of mineral resources in order that it may play a significant role in the renewal of mineral resources(applied metallogeny);(3) the combination of the study of environmental protection and the ore deposit geology with a view to establishing environmental ore deposit geology to harmonize the development of mineral industries and the environment protection (environmental ore deposit geology). In addition, the paper puts forward the opinion that the information and views gained in ore deposit research may enrich the contents of earth science and promote science popularization.
