Formation of the composition and quality of carbonate mineral water of the Elburgan water bearing complex (Essentuki Town)

The problems of underground water formation in the Elburgan water bearing stratum in conditions close to a marine sedimentation basin are considered in this article. As well, we consider variations in water composition under the influence of mixing with ground waters during water pumping for commercial purposes, and the deterioration of water quality caused by a decrease in the mineralization of mixture, considered with respect to the degree of mineralization accepted for waters used for medical purposes.
