广东平远县278铀矿床流纹岩、次流纹斑岩和辉绿岩LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb定年及其地质意义

摘    要:作者对广东平远县278铀矿床的流纹岩、次流纹斑岩和辉绿岩进行了高精度锆石LAICP-MS U-Pb同位素测年,获得流纹岩、次流纹斑岩和辉绿岩单颗粒锆石的加权平均年龄分别为:93.5±1.6Ma、95.1±1.1Ma、96.2±2.8Ma,属晚白垩世早期,且三者在误差范围内具有同期性,表明该区在晚白垩世早期既有幔源的基性岩浆活动,又有壳源的酸性岩浆活动,这为该区当时处于拉张的构造环境提供了佐证。

Abstract:This work focused on the No.278 uranium deposit in Pingyuan county, Guangdong Province. We have conducted a chronological study of zircons from the rhyolites, supergene rhyolite porphyry and diabase by means of LA-ICP-MS U-Pb. The weighted mean ages of the zircons are 93.5±1.6Ma, 95.1±1.1Ma and 96.2±2.8Ma in turn, suggesting they formed during the early Late Cretaceous. They have the same period in the error range. This suggests that the activity of this area was involved both in mafic magma from the mantle and acidic magma from the earth''s crust in early Late Cretaceous. It is a piece of evidence to show a tensional tectonic environment at that time.
