| Abstract: | Wire Frame Model is one of the most important model to express objects in Three Dimension Graphics.Currently,it is widely applied in software of mineral prospecting to manage and express great-complicated Geological Body.This paper improved a cutting and splitting method for geological body based on wire frame model.Firstly,it created cutting and clipping model.Secondly,it got profiles by calculating the intersections between cutting planes and triangles in geological bodies.Thirdly,it split original geological body into two parts.Fourthly,it reconstructed the two parts.Besides,this paper applied an algorithm of collision detection by building oriented-bounding boxes to decrease the calculation of intersection.The experiment showed that the algorithms in this paper could be applicable and efficient. |
