Analysis and Research on the Legal System of Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction in China

China is one of the countries with the most serious earthquake disasters in the world.More than 50 years'practice of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction shows that perfecting the legal system of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction plays an important role in improving the ability of earthquake disaster prevention in China.Based on a comprehensive review of the current situation of the legal system of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in China,this paper uses the methods of literature review and comparative analysis,summarizes and analyses the four existing problems,and draws on the advanced experience of Japan and the United States,puts forward the promulgation of the Natural Disaster Prevention Law,the revision of the Emergency Response Law,and the timely revision of the earthquake prevention law.The relevant laws and regulations on disaster reduction,the further clarification of the legal responsibilities and tasks of the main bodies of authority for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction,and the improvement of the local legal system for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction have certain guiding significance for improving the legal system of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction and improving the legalization level of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.
