河西地区土地利用/覆盖变化驱动力研究

河西地区的土地利用／覆盖格局2000多年来发生了很大的变化。参考大量的数据与资料分析了河西地区土地利用覆盖变化的驱动力，结果表明，自然机制与人为机制同时改变着该地区的土地利用／覆盖状况，自然机制的驱动是缓慢的，长期的，而人为机制的驱动，尤其到了近现代，则是剧烈的，集中的，人口变化是驱动土地利用／覆盖变化的非常活跃的因素。

Study on the Land Use/Land Cover Change in the Hexi Region

Land use/land cover change is closely related to the climate,ecological process,biochemical circulation,biodiversity,human activities,etc.,so it is currently the main factor causing the global change. As the frontier and focus of the global change study,the land use/land cover change is the core of all the issues related to sustainable development. The study on the regional cases is an important method in the study on the land use/land cover change. Located in the transitional zone of the three main geophysical divisions in Gansu Province of China,the Hexi region is one of the main arid areas in northwest China,where the environmental evolution is sensitive,the ecology is fragile,and the evolution process and mechanism of land cover are quite different from that in east China. It has the very important theoretical and practical significances for researching the modern environment change caused by artificial impacts in arid areas to research the issues related to the land use/land cover change in the Hexi region. This paper discusses the process of the land use/land cover change in the Hexi region,reveals the driving mechanism of the land use/land cover change,and researches the influences of the land use/land cover change on the natural environment and the social-economic development in the region.
